How to fix?

Upgrade RHEL:9 mod_ssl to version 1:2.4.57-11.el9_4.4 or higher.
This issue was patched in RHSA-2026:0141.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mod_ssl package and not the mod_ssl package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

Apache HTTP Server 2.4.65 and earlier with Server Side Includes (SSI) enabled and mod_cgid (but not mod_cgi) passes the shell-escaped query string to #exec cmd="..." directives.

This issue affects Apache HTTP Server before 2.4.66.

Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.66, which fixes the issue.
