NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream xorg-x11-server-devel package and not the xorg-x11-server-devel package as distributed by RHEL. See How to fix? for RHEL:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

A heap overflow flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The computation of the length in XkbSizeKeySyms() differs from what is written in XkbWriteKeySyms(), which may lead to a heap-based buffer overflow.
