How to fix?

Upgrade Rocky-Linux:8 python-attrs to version 0:20.3.0-2.module+el8.10.0+1860+afcc1c71 or higher.
This issue was patched in RLSA-2025:23530.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-attrs package and not the python-attrs package as distributed by Rocky-Linux. See How to fix? for Rocky-Linux:8 relevant fixed versions and status.

The urllib.parse.urlsplit() and urlparse() functions improperly validated bracketed hosts ([]), allowing hosts that weren't IPv6 or IPvFuture. This behavior was not conformant to RFC 3986 and potentially enabled SSRF if a URL is processed by more than one URL parser.
