How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:12.04 aptdaemon to version 0.43+bzr805-0ubuntu7 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream aptdaemon package and not the aptdaemon package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:12.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

Aptdaemon 0.43 in Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04 LTS uses short IDs when importing PPA GPG keys from a keyserver, which allows remote attackers to install arbitrary package repository GPG keys via a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack.
