How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:12.10 chromium-browser to version 28.0.1500.71-0ubuntu1.12.10.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream chromium-browser package and not the chromium-browser package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:12.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

The HTTPS implementation in Google Chrome before 28.0.1500.71 does not ensure that headers are terminated by \r\n\r\n (carriage return, newline, carriage return, newline), which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to have an unspecified impact via vectors that trigger header truncation.
