CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:12.10 gnash to version 0.8.10-3ubuntu1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream gnash package and not the gnash package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:12.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

plugin/npapi/plugin.cpp in Gnash before 0.8.10 uses weak permissions (world readable) for cookie files with predictable names in /tmp, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information.
