How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:14.04 chromium-browser to version 50.0.2661.102-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.1117 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream chromium-browser package and not the chromium-browser package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:14.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

The TreeScope::adoptIfNeeded function in WebKit/Source/core/dom/TreeScope.cpp in the DOM implementation in Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 50.0.2661.102, does not prevent script execution during node-adoption operations, which allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via a crafted web site.
