CWE-17  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:15.04 chromium-browser to version 44.0.2403.89-0ubuntu0.15.04.1.1177 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream chromium-browser package and not the chromium-browser package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:15.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 44.0.2403.89, enables a quirks-mode exception that limits the cases in which a Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) document is required to have the text/css content type, which allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy via a crafted web site, related to core/fetch/CSSStyleSheetResource.cpp.
