CVE-2016-8618 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Ubuntu:16.04 curl to version 7.47.0-1ubuntu2.2 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream curl package and not the curl package as distributed by Ubuntu.
See How to fix? for Ubuntu:16.04 relevant fixed versions and status.
The libcurl API function called curl_maprintf() before version 7.51.0 can be tricked into doing a double-free due to an unsafe size_t multiplication, on systems using 32 bit size_t variables.
