CVE-2016-1684  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:16.04 libxslt to version 1.1.28-2.1ubuntu0.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libxslt package and not the libxslt package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:16.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

numbers.c in libxslt before 1.1.29, as used in Google Chrome before 51.0.2704.63, mishandles the i format token for xsl:number data, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (integer overflow or resource consumption) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted document.
