CVE-2020-26137  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-74  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:16.04 python-urllib3 to version 1.13.1-2ubuntu0.16.04.4 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-urllib3 package and not the python-urllib3 package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:16.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

urllib3 before 1.25.9 allows CRLF injection if the attacker controls the HTTP request method, as demonstrated by inserting CR and LF control characters in the first argument of putrequest(). NOTE: this is similar to CVE-2020-26116.
