CWE-129  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:17.10 flashplugin-nonfree to version 27.0.0.170ubuntu1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream flashplugin-nonfree package and not the flashplugin-nonfree package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:17.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

Adobe Flash Player version 27.0.0.159 and earlier has a flawed bytecode verification procedure, which allows for an untrusted value to be used in the calculation of an array index. This can lead to type confusion, and successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
