NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libvirt package and not the libvirt package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:17.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

libvirt version 2.3.0 and later is vulnerable to a bad default configuration of "verify-peer=no" passed to QEMU by libvirt resulting in a failure to validate SSL/TLS certificates by default.
