CWE-863  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:18.04 runc to version 1.0.0rc10-0ubuntu118.04.2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream runc package and not the runc package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:18.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

runc through 1.0.0-rc8, as used in Docker through 19.03.2-ce and other products, allows AppArmor restriction bypass because libcontainer/rootfs_linux.go incorrectly checks mount targets, and thus a malicious Docker image can mount over a /proc directory.
