CVE-2017-15105 Open this link in a new tabHow to fix?
Upgrade Ubuntu:18.04 unbound to version 1.6.7-1ubuntu2.1 or higher.
NVD Description
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream unbound package and not the unbound package as distributed by Ubuntu.
See How to fix? for Ubuntu:18.04 relevant fixed versions and status.
A flaw was found in the way unbound before 1.6.8 validated wildcard-synthesized NSEC records. An improperly validated wildcard NSEC record could be used to prove the non-existence (NXDOMAIN answer) of an existing wildcard record, or trick unbound into accepting a NODATA proof.
