How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:18.10 poppler to version 0.68.0-0ubuntu1.4 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream poppler package and not the poppler package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:18.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

A reachable Object::dictLookup assertion in Poppler 0.72.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service due to the lack of a check for the dict data type, as demonstrated by use of the FileSpec class (in FileSpec.cc) in pdfdetach.
