NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libxslt package and not the libxslt package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:22.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

numbers.c in libxslt before 1.1.43 has a use-after-free because, in nested XPath evaluations, an XPath context node can be modified but never restored. This is related to xsltNumberFormatGetValue, xsltEvalXPathPredicate, xsltEvalXPathStringNs, and xsltComputeSortResultInternal.
