Test your applicationsUpgrade Ubuntu:24.04 libnet-cidr-lite-perl to version 0.22-2ubuntu0.24.04.2 or higher.
Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libnet-cidr-lite-perl package and not the libnet-cidr-lite-perl package as distributed by Ubuntu.
See How to fix? for Ubuntu:24.04 relevant fixed versions and status.
Net::CIDR::Lite versions before 0.24 for Perl does not properly consider extraneous zero characters in CIDR mask values, which may allow IP ACL bypass.
Mask forms like "/00" and "/01" pass validation and parse to the same prefix as their unpadded value.
