CWE-276  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:24.04 python-rtslib-fb to version 2.1.73-1ubuntu3 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-rtslib-fb package and not the python-rtslib-fb package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:24.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

Open-iSCSI rtslib-fb through 2.1.72 has weak permissions for /etc/target/saveconfig.json because shutil.copyfile (instead of shutil.copy) is used, and thus permissions are not preserved.
