How to fix?

Upgrade Ubuntu:24.10 libxml2 to version 2.12.7+dfsg-3ubuntu0.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libxml2 package and not the libxml2 package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:24.10 relevant fixed versions and status.

In libxml2 2.11 before 2.11.9, 2.12 before 2.12.9, and 2.13 before 2.13.3, the SAX parser can produce events for external entities even if custom SAX handlers try to override entity content (by setting "checked"). This makes classic XXE attacks possible.
