CVE-2013-0342  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for Ubuntu:25.04 pyrad.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream pyrad package and not the pyrad package as distributed by Ubuntu. See How to fix? for Ubuntu:25.04 relevant fixed versions and status.

The CreateID function in packet.py in pyrad before 2.1 uses sequential packet IDs, which makes it easier for remote attackers to spoof packets by predicting the next ID, a different vulnerability than CVE-2013-0294.
