Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream golang-github-hashicorp-go-getter package and not the golang-github-hashicorp-go-getter package as distributed by Ubuntu.
HashiCorp’s go-getter library can be coerced into executing Git update on an existing maliciously modified Git Configuration, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
