Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream policykit-1 package and not the policykit-1 package as distributed by Ubuntu.
pkexec, when used with --user nonpriv, allows local users to escape to the parent session via a crafted TIOCSTI ioctl call, which pushes characters to the terminal's input buffer.
