Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) via the f_read or f_write process when handling interleaved read and write operations on fragmented filesystems, due to an unsigned-subtraction wrap in the calculation (fp->sect - sect < cc). An attacker can cause data integrity loss or denial of service by exploiting this arithmetic flaw to bypass dirty-sector cache flushing. Note: CVE-2026-6685 was rejected by the CVE List.
