Snyk has a proof-of-concept or detailed explanation of how to exploit this vulnerability.
The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Resource Shutdown or Release through the elf_strptr
function. An attacker can cause the application to crash by manipulating the input data to this function.
Note: The project maintainers do not consider this a vulnerability, based on the following clause in the project's security policy: "Since most elfutils tools are run in short-lived, local, interactive, development context rather than remotely 'in production', we generally treat malfunctions as ordinary bugs rather than security vulnerabilities."
