Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of Weak Hash in the MurmurHash3 process. An attacker can cause significant CPU exhaustion by supplying a crafted JSON object with keys that all hash to the same bucket, resulting in degraded hash table performance and increased processing time.
