How to fix?

Upgrade Wolfi dnsmasq to version 2.93-r0 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream dnsmasq package and not the dnsmasq package as distributed by Wolfi. See How to fix? for Wolfi relevant fixed versions and status.

dnsmasqs extract_name() function can be abused to cause a heap buffer overflow, allowing an attacker to inject false DNS cache entries, which could result in DNS lookups to redirect to an attacker-controlled IP address, or to cause a DoS.
