    org.apache.storm:storm-metrics-prometheus is a Distributed and fault-tolerant realtime computation

    Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the INSECURE_CONNECTION_FACTORY calls. An attacker can intercept sensitive data and credentials by performing man-in-the-middle attacks on any TLS-protected connection within the affected process.

    Note: This is only exploitable if the storm.daemon.metrics.reporter.plugin.prometheus.skip_tls_validation setting is enabled in the configuration.
