NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream py3-ecdsa package and not the py3-ecdsa package as distributed by Alpine. See How to fix? for Alpine:3.19 relevant fixed versions and status.

An error-handling flaw was found in python-ecdsa before version 0.13.3. During signature decoding, malformed DER signatures could raise unexpected exceptions (or no exceptions at all), which could lead to a denial of service.
