NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream slock package and not the slock package as distributed by Alpine. See How to fix? for Alpine:3.21 relevant fixed versions and status.

slock allows attackers to bypass the screen lock via vectors involving an invalid password hash, which triggers a NULL pointer dereference and crash.
