CWE-119  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Alpine:3.3 nodejs to version 4.2.3-r0 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream nodejs package and not the nodejs package as distributed by Alpine. See How to fix? for Alpine:3.3 relevant fixed versions and status.

The BasicJsonStringifier::SerializeJSArray function in json-stringifier.h in the JSON stringifier in Google V8, as used in Google Chrome before 47.0.2526.73, improperly loads array elements, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds memory access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted JavaScript code.
