CVE-2023-44487  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Chainguard coredns to version 1.11.1-r6 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream coredns package and not the coredns package as distributed by Chainguard. See How to fix? for Chainguard relevant fixed versions and status.

The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
