How to fix?

Upgrade Chainguard dotty to version 3.4.0-r0 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream dotty package and not the dotty package as distributed by Chainguard. See How to fix? for Chainguard relevant fixed versions and status.

An issue in protobuf-java allowed the interleaving of com.google.protobuf.UnknownFieldSet fields in such a way that would be processed out of order. A small malicious payload can occupy the parser for several minutes by creating large numbers of short-lived objects that cause frequent, repeated pauses. We recommend upgrading libraries beyond the vulnerable versions.
