How to fix?

Upgrade Chainguard firefox-esr to version 128-r0 or higher.

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream firefox-esr package and not the firefox-esr package as distributed by Chainguard. See How to fix? for Chainguard relevant fixed versions and status.

It was possible to move the cursor using pointerlock from an iframe. This allowed moving the cursor outside of the viewport and the Firefox window. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 128 and Thunderbird < 128.
