CVE-2023-44487  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Chainguard timestamp-authority-fips to version 1.2.1-r0 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream timestamp-authority-fips package and not the timestamp-authority-fips package as distributed by Chainguard. See How to fix? for Chainguard relevant fixed versions and status.

The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
