Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Initialization. ImageMagick is vulnerable to denial of service (DoS). The attack is possible when a malicious input image is sent to the WriteJP2Image function in coders/jp2.c, "leading to the use of uninitialized value and eventually an application crash.
