Overview

Mosquitto is an open source implementation of a server for version 3.1 and 3.1.1 of the MQTT protocol.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Excessive Iteration when establishing a connection to the server without sending data. This causes an EPOLLOUT event to be added, leading to excessive CPU consumption. An attacker can cause a denial of service by exploiting this vulnerability.
