Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the xcoff_link_add_symbols() function when a user is tricked into running it against a specially crafted XCOFF object file. An attacker can access sensitive information or cause a partial denial of service by supplying a malicious file to the user and convincing them to execute the process.
