The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Reachable Assertion in the readelf process when parsing a specially crafted ELF binary containing malformed DWARF abbrev or debug information. An attacker can cause the application to abort and crash by convincing a user to process a malicious file with the readelf program. This is only exploitable if a user processes an untrusted ELF binary with readelf.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by not processing untrusted, unverified, or externally supplied ELF binaries with the readelf program.
