The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the readelf process when parsing a specially crafted ELF binary with malformed header fields. An attacker can cause the application to crash by convincing a user to process a malicious file. This is only exploitable if a user processes an untrusted ELF binary with readelf.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted, unverified, or externally supplied ELF binaries with the readelf program.
