Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the bfd_elf_set_group_contents function of the SHT_GROUP section handler in elf.c. An attacker can cause a crash or potentially impact confidentiality and integrity by triggering a null pointer dereference through local manipulation.
