The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the add_archive_element process when handling object or archive files with LTO plugins enabled. An attacker can cause a crash of the linker process by introducing a specially crafted object or archive file into the build process. This is only exploitable if LTO plugin support is enabled and untrusted or externally-supplied object or archive files are processed during linking.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding LTO-enabled linking against untrusted or externally-supplied object and archive files, and by ensuring build environments only process trusted inputs.
