Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity through the cJSON_Compare function. An attacker can cause excessive CPU consumption by submitting a deeply nested JSON document that is structurally equal to a reference document, leading to significant performance degradation due to exponential time complexity in processing.
