Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size in the XMLNode::parseFile function. An attacker can cause memory corruption, potentially leading to information disclosure or application disruption, by supplying specially crafted XML input.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted or unverified XML files and implementing strict input validation and source restrictions for XML data.
