Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion in the compile function of the Markdown Handler component in markdown.c. An attacker can cause the application to crash by providing an input with infinitely deep blockquotes, leading to uncontrolled recursion and resource exhaustion.
