Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity due to the improper validation of the PermissionsCA expiration date and full chain. An attacker can exploit this to use an expired PermissionsCA to bypass security restrictions and potentially cause a system crash when the PermissionsCA is not self-signed and lacks a full chain.
