Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Certificate Expiration via using X509_verify_cert in the verify_certificate function in the PKIDH.cpp file, and the validity of permission grants is checked in the is_validation_in_time function in the Permissions.cpp. An attacker can establish unauthorized or insecure connections by exploiting the lack of proper ticket revocation checks.
