Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the dwa_uncompress() function when decoding OpenEXR files with DWAA or DWAB compression due to insufficient validation of the raw length of run-length-encoded data. An attacker can cause memory corruption or potentially execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious OpenEXR file with manipulated compression data.
