Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read through the spdif_header_dts4 function in libavformat/spdifenc.c. An attacker can read memory beyond the packet buffer by supplying a crafted DTS-HD stream with a core_size value larger than the actual packet length during S/PDIF re-muxing. This can expose adjacent process memory and corrupt playback or remuxing of malicious DTS audio streams.
