Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch due to improper certificate validation in the tls_open process, which skips hostname checks for IP-address hosts. An attacker can intercept and manipulate encrypted connections by presenting a certificate from any trusted certificate authority.
